Pre-Boarding

If possible, please send all information by email (including vaccine certificates) prior to coming in.

Also if this is your first time boarding with us, we do request a deposit of approximately 30 % of the total when you drop him off.

If you are going on vacation for an extended period of time(especially overseas), try to have a person who lives locally to act as emergency contact. Also it is a good idea to let your veterinarian know.

1. Updated Vaccination Certificate

Please bring your certificates with you. All animals must be up to date with their vaccinations. Expiration dates differ by vaccine type, so check closely to avoid problems when you arrive.

• Dogs: DA2PP, Bordetella, and Rabies
• Cats: FVRCP, and Rabies

To save time when checking in, we encourage you to e-mail your certificates to us ahead of time. This also ensures that you have the proper vaccines, and avoid the risk of being turned away because of overdue vaccines.

2. Medications

If your pet needs medications or supplements, please bring them with you, with instructions clearly marked. There is no cost for administering medications. If your pet needs injections, there is a charge of $7.00 per injection.

You are responsible for providing flea, tick and heartworm prevention medication.

3. Food + Treats

For the benefit of your dog, we suggest bringing food from home. It is easier on their stomach, and we already know they like it. We do ask that you label it, and inform us of the number of meals per day, and the amount of food per meal. Please be detailed in the amounts, as we assume one cup to mean 250 mL, and so on. If you have a mug or a scoop that you use, bring it with you, and inform us of how many “mugs” or “scoops” to give, to avoid any confusion with measurements. It is always best to bring a little extra food, as sometimes the dogs spill their food, or if you have to pick them up a few days later. Treats are always well appreciated by your pets, so bring them along as well!

4. Emergency Contact Phone Number

Upon check-in, you will be asked to provide a contact number (or two) in case of an emergency. If you have a number of where you will be staying, or a cell phone, we can call you. If you will be unreachable, then a friend or a family member that you trust is acceptable. They must be responsible and willing to make decisions in the event of an emergency, medical or otherwise, involving your pet.

5. Your Pet's Favourite Things

For an easier transition into the boarding facility, we recommend that you bring items from home that your pet just can’t live without. A comfy blanket or bed, a favourite toy, or anything else that might make them happier and more comfortable while you’re away will be a great addition to their home away from home. We do advise you not to send items that are valuable to you, as some dogs tend to chew more while away from home. Also, please leave your bowls at home, we have our own supply, and wouldn’t want to mix yours up with ours while they are being washed.
